Northport Connect is a new mainstreamed way of connecting citizens' concerns with various city departments. Northport Connect helps residents submit service requests or get help with permits or licenses. Requests can be submitted at anytime. However, city staff will review all requests during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, except for city-observed holidays.
For emergencies dial 911. Water main breaks can be reported to the Utilities Department at 205-342-3636 during normal business hours. After hours, call the non-emergency line at 205-339-6600 or by calling the Water Treatment Plant at 205-333-3017. Missed garbage, trash, or water billing issues are not an emergency and will be handled the following business day.

How can I submit a request?
Submit a request by adding a New Request on the form below. Please be as detailed as possible when submitting a request. Once your request has been received it will be routed to the appropriate department and the work will be scheduled. Keep in mind, some requests will take longer than others. Please make sure to provide your email address so that city staff can provide updates on your request.
