Why is my water bill so high?

You may have a water leak. Quite often the culprit is a leaking toilet. One way to check for a leak is to make sure that no one in the house is using water, and go check the water meter. There is a small red triangle on the meter face. If this is turning while no one is using water, then you have a leak on your side of the meter.
